Terms and Conditions
These terms govern use of EduSamachar CG apps, website, paid access, content, and related services.
1. Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of EduSamachar CG, including the Android app, iOS app, website pages, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service description
EduSamachar CG provides current affairs, news analysis, related concepts, monthly content, tests, explanations, performance summaries, bookmarks, rankings, and related digital preparation features for CGPSC, Vyapam, and similar exam aspirants. We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for quality, security, technical, legal, or business reasons.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, you should use the Service only with the permission and supervision required by applicable law.
4. Independent educational product
EduSamachar CG is an independent educational and current-affairs preparation product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to CGPSC, Vyapam, any newspaper, or any government department. Official exam notices, dates, eligibility rules, results, and other critical information should be verified from the relevant official source.
5. Accounts and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, OTPs, and device access and for activity performed through your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may restrict access where we reasonably detect abuse, fraud, credential sharing, or a security risk.
6. Plans, pricing, and platform availability
Plan availability, pricing, taxes, duration, and purchase flow may differ by platform and may change prospectively. Website/Android pricing is shown on the applicable EduSamachar CG pricing or purchase screen. iOS pricing is shown by Apple in the App Store purchase flow. The price and duration displayed at the point of purchase govern that transaction.
7. Payments and billing
Razorpay is used for supported website/Android payment flows. Apple processes purchases made through the iOS App Store using Apple In-App Purchase/StoreKit. Payment processors may collect payment credentials directly. EduSamachar CG receives only the transaction information reasonably necessary to verify payment, activate access, reconcile purchases, provide support, and prevent fraud.
8. Current non-renewing access model
Current iOS Pro plans are non-renewing purchases: the Monthly plan provides 30 days of access and the Yearly plan provides 365 days of access. They do not automatically renew; a new purchase is required after expiry if the user wishes to continue. Website/Android purchases are handled according to the one-time or non-renewing terms displayed in the applicable purchase flow. If an auto-renewing product is introduced in the future, its renewal terms and cancellation method will be shown before purchase.
9. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation and refund rights depend on the purchase platform, transaction circumstances, usage, and applicable law. Apple controls refund decisions for purchases made through the App Store. 10. License and intellectual property
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service and access content made available to your account for your own learning. Content, summaries, questions, explanations, graphics, software, interface elements, branding, and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You must not copy, scrape, reproduce, republish, redistribute, sell, mirror, data-mine, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the Service or its content except as permitted by law or with our prior written consent.
11. Acceptable use
You must not upload or transmit malicious code, attempt to bypass security or access controls, manipulate tests or rankings, abuse referrals or offers, share or sell paid account access, impersonate another person, use automated scraping tools, or otherwise use the Service unlawfully or in a way that harms the Service or other users.
12. Editorial policy, accuracy, and corrections
We aim to rely on primary or official sources where practical and to present current-affairs material in concise, exam-oriented form. We may correct or update content when reliable new information becomes available. If you identify a material error, contact support@edusamacharcg.in.
13. Exam, test, and ranking disclaimer
EduSamachar CG is an educational aid. We strive for accuracy and relevance but do not guarantee completeness, timeliness, exam selection, marks, eligibility, or any official rank. Scores, rankings, predictions, and performance summaries are for practice and self-assessment only. Users should verify critical examination information from official sources.
14. Availability and updates
The Service requires compatible devices, software, and network access. Features may vary by device or platform. App, website, cloud, payment, store, or other third-party services may experience maintenance, interruption, delay, or error. Please keep supported app versions up to date.
15. Third-party services and links
The Service may use or link to third-party services such as Firebase, Razorpay, Apple services, hosting providers, or external information sources. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
16. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect information.
17. Suspension and termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where we reasonably believe there is a breach of these Terms, fraud, unauthorized sharing, payment abuse, unlawful conduct, repeated security risk, or where required by law. If the Service itself is discontinued, we will handle active access and obligations in accordance with applicable law and platform requirements.
18. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EDUSAM (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, exam-related, or similar losses arising from use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
19. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the Service or material breach of these Terms.
20. Force majeure
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including major network or cloud outages, natural disasters, government action, widespread service failures, or similar events.
21. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer and other mandatory laws, disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.
22. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, features, platforms, or business practices. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
