Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to EduSamachar CG, including the Android app, iOS app where available, website pages, and related services operated by EDUSAM (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED.

2. Information we collect

We may collect account information such as name, phone number, email address, profile details, exam preferences, language preference, device information, app usage events, subscription status, wallet/credit metadata, referral details, bookmarks, test attempt data, and support communication.

3. Authentication and account security

EduSamachar CG may use Firebase Authentication or similar services to sign users in, verify phone/email ownership, protect accounts, and maintain a common entitlement record across supported platforms.

4. Payment information

Razorpay is the active payment gateway for supported website/Android payment flows. Payment processors may collect and process payment instrument information directly. EduSamachar CG does not intend to store full card numbers, UPI PINs, net-banking passwords, or CVV details on its own servers.

5. App analytics, crash reports, and messaging

We may use services such as Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, Cloud Messaging, or In-App Messaging to understand app performance, diagnose crashes, send important updates, and improve user experience. These services may process device and usage data according to their own service terms.

6. Content and learning data

We may store test attempts, scores, bookmarks, content access state, read state, ranking-related snapshots, and performance summaries so that users can continue preparation and review progress.

7. How we use information

• to provide account access and app features;
• to show paid/free entitlement status;
• to process payment and subscription status;
• to provide tests, results, rankings, bookmarks, and performance summaries;
• to send support, security, and service updates;
• to detect abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access;
• to improve app reliability, content quality, and user experience.

8. Data sharing

We may share necessary data with service providers such as hosting, analytics, authentication, payment gateway, cloud storage, and support providers. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

9. Data retention

We retain information as long as required to provide the service, meet legal/accounting obligations, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and maintain account/security records. Some payment and transaction metadata may be retained as required by law or business records.

10. User rights and deletion

Users may request profile/account deletion by following the process on the Profile Deletion page or by contacting support@edusamacharcg.in. Some records may be retained where required for legal, payment, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.

11. Children

EduSamachar CG is intended for competitive exam aspirants. Users below the legally required age should use the service only with appropriate parental or guardian consent.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. Users must protect their login credentials and OTPs.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised update date.
